金継ぎのワークショップ/ Pottery Doctor workshop
今日は金継ぎのワークショップを行いました。米粒と漆を混ぜて陶器に塗ったり、いろいろ目から鱗な作業であることが発覚。今日は第１工程を終えて、この状態のままあと一週間乾かします。最終的に金を塗るまでもう少し時間が掛かりそうです。割れたりヒビが入った陶器を金で修復（というか、全く別なものに生まれ変わらせる）するというアイデアが素敵。昔の人は本当に生活の楽しみ方を知ってはったのだというよい例です。おばあちゃんから貰った湯のみがどのように生まれ変わるのか、楽しみながら待つことにしよう。金継ぎキットを常備しているので、金継ぎをしてみたいという人は随時、陶器をお持ちください。

We did "Pottery Doctor" workshop tonight. The first process we experienced tonight was to paint cracked parts of our cup and plates with　the paste, which consists of lacquer and cooked rice(!). We have to wait until they dry out completely, and repeat the same process for few more times before moving to the next step. After the first one is done, we will be able to paint the cups and plates with pure gold paste. This process makes me admire people in the past that they know how to be playful and enjoy their life.

今日はたくさんの人がきてくれて、初挑戦のシルクスクリーンワークショップも大盛況でした。楽しかった。自分のシャツなら失敗してもなんとかなるけど、人のシャツに印刷するのは、やっぱりどきどきで、多少緊張しながら刷りました。やっぱり手を動かして何かを作る作業は楽しい。もっとしないと。皆さん、ちゃんとアイロンしてくださいね（しつこくいいます）！それでもインクが取れたら、また持って来てください。あと、プリントしたいシャツがあれば、随時預かりますので、いつでもお持ちください。今ははなれメンバーがワークショップの旗ふりをしていますが、こんなことできるよ！というのがあれば、いつもで教えてください。次回は金継ぎのワークショップ。この機会に欠けたお皿や割れたコップを直しましょ。

Many people showed up tonight that our first silkscreen workshop went really successful. I was little nervous that I would fuck up the images when printing on somebody else's shirts. It was fun to use hands and make stuff nevertheless. Just in case you forgot, please iron the printed images over a piece of cloth. We will be doing more workshops in coming month and if you have any skill or knowledge you want to share with us, please let us know.

シルクスクリーンワークショップで印刷するのは、この３つの絵柄です。インクカラーも選べます。Tシャツに印刷するのも可愛いけど、ボタン付きシャツにプリントするのもなかなかのものです。

We are doing a silkscreen print workshop at hanare next Monday starting around 9pm. We will print the images above and you can choose ink colors for the T-shirt or shirt you bring over. I really recommend you try printing the image on a button down shirt because it really looks cute.
