5月25日(日)にhanareレクチャーシリーズvol.４を開催いたします。珍しいキノコ舞踊団の伊藤千枝とダンサーの砂連尾理、スタイルの異なる２人のトークを行います。「ゆるさ」「セクシャリティー」「コンテンポラリーダンスの今後」ということを大きなテーマにしながら、それぞれのダンスを形作るコンセプトと今後の方向性を対談によって明らかにしていきます。閉塞的な社会のあり方を解きほぐす、起爆剤としての身体（ダンス）の役割についても、縦横無尽なトークをお送りします。当日は美味しいご飯と飲物を準備していおりますので、お誘い合わせの上是非ご参加ください。

伊藤千枝／Chie Ito
1990年「珍しいキノコ舞踊団」を結成。以降全作品の演出・振付・構成を担当し、国内外で作品を発表している。公演は劇場の他、美術館の中庭や映画館、事務所やカフェなど、カラフルな舞台美術や衣装とともにあらゆる空間で上演。その様々な空間で立ち上がるダンスを観客とともに体験し、それぞれの場所、それぞれの身体がもっているダンスを探り「楽しむ」ことを目指している。2003年〜2004年NHK教育テレビ「ドレミノテレビ」の振付を担当、2007年映画「めがね」（荻上直子監督の最新作）の"メルシー体操"振付、UAの新曲「黄金の緑」の振付など。 http://www.strangekinoko.com/

砂連尾 理/ Osamu Jareo
大学入学と同時にダンスを始める。'91年より寺田みさことダンスユニットを結成。自己と他者という人間関係の最小単位である『デュオ』という形態の中で、そこから生まれ出るハーモニーに着目し、人間の新たな関係性を模索した作品づくりを行なう。又、近年はソロ活動を展開し、舞台作品だけでなく障がいを持つ人やホームレス、子どもとのワークショップも手がけ、ダンスと社会の関わり、その可能性を模索している。今秋より、文化庁・平成20年度新進芸術家海外留学制度の研修員としてベルリンに滞在する予定。

Chie Ito x Osamu Jareo
We are pleased to announce that we are hosting [hanare lecture series vol.4] on May 25th with Chie Ito and Osamu Jareo, unique and well-respected contemporary dancers. The talk will focus on the "looseness in the context of contemporary dance," "sexurality," "the future of Japanese contemporary dance," while revealing the ideas behind Ito and Jareoﾕs dance styles. The lectureﾕs topic also includes how a body (dance) can play a vital role to loosen up the tightly controlled society, and to offer a fresh perspective in the era of overly complicated world. We will serve food and drinks for the lecture, and please email us if you are planning to join us.

04.16レクチャーレポート/ 04.16 Lecture Report

初めてはなれに来られた方や府外から来て頂いたりして、皆さんありがとうございました。前回のレクチャーに来ていない参加者の方が殆どだったので、まずは どのような経緯でこの展覧会を企画したのかという話や出展参加に付いての話をざっくりと。（展示の詳細については、渡辺さんのHPを見た方が分かりやすい ので省きます）そしてNYでの展覧会のレポートに話は移って行きました。４００人近くもの人がオープニングに来て、来場者の反応自体は凄く好意的に迎えら れたようです。NYの展覧会の批評は全て学術誌からで、美術雑誌からのレビュー１つも得られなかったという事を聞いて、それはとっても残念だと思った。美 術誌が機能不全に陥っていることとか、マーケットと繋がらないような展覧会には見向きもされないという経済的な仕組みから、自動的に排除されて、政治性を 排除する方向が出来上がっている。日本でも決まりかけた巡回先がだめになったりと、挑戦的なテーマを避けて通る、きっぱりとしない態度がはびこっていて、 アート関係で働いている人、しっかりしてください！と叫びたくなった。渡辺さんが「アーティストは理想を掲げるのが仕事」っていうような事を言っていたけ ど、そこに関わるメディアや機関が「理想を掲げる仕事」を全く受け止めることができない現状は、個々がなんとかして変えていかないとだめです、って思っ た。特に、こういう形でインディペンデントに動いている人がちゃんと活きるような仕組みを考えていかないとね。今回のレクチャーではアート関係の人やら アーティストの人達も来ていて、いろんな話が飛び交って、彼らからの質問を聞いていてもいろいろ考えるところがありました。この展覧会は、今後東京と京 都、沖縄で開催されるみたいですので、近くに来た時は足を運んでください。

[For English info, please scroll down]4月16日(水)に「はなれ」レクチャーシリーズvol.３を開催します。今回のレクチャーは2007年１月17日に行ったレクチャーの続編として、再びNY在住キュレーターである、渡辺真也さんを迎えて行います（昨年のレクチャーの模様はこちら）。前回のレクチャーでは「アトミック･サンシャインの中へ - 日本国平和憲法第九条下における戦後美術」という美術展覧会の企画段階の話でしたが、今回のレクチャーはNYでの同展覧会を終え、今年8月6日に迫った東京・代官山ヒルサイドフォーラムでの展示に向けた話をしてもらいます。渡辺さんの展覧会に向けてのテキストを私たちなりに咀嚼しながら、今回のレクチャーの意図を説明してみます。戦後、憲法９条があることによって戦争を回避してきた一方で、アメリカ軍の庇護のもとに経済的発展を遂げてきた日本において、アーティストはそのねじれた状況を捉え、戦前と戦後の関係性、日本の平和状態の国内的／国際的な意味合いを問い直す作品を数多く残してきた。渡辺さんの展覧会はそうした日本の戦後美術を検証することによって、「憲法９条」を持つ事の意味を美術の視点から問いかけるものです。近代国家の枠組みを越えた「テロリズム」が世界を覆うなか、「あなたを傷つけない」という「他者」への宣言が、今、グローバルな力を持ちうる可能性についても話してもらいます。「戦争は人が死ぬし嫌いやねん」ってはっきり言ってしまえる日本の腰抜け的弱さがステキだし、この類をみない進歩的な態度は、世界中の人からもかなりモテモテやと思う。そして、インディペンデントなキュレターとして明確な意思がある展覧会を企画し、実際に実現させている渡辺さんの仕事っぷりについても、アートマネージメント％＆＃＠＃というちょっと訳の分からないカテゴリーの枠から出て、考えてみたいと思ってます。レクチャー当日は美味しいご飯と飲物を準備しています。収容人数に限りがありますので、来られる方は 「はなれ」までご連絡ください。皆様の参加をお待ちしています。

-Open UniversityとはNYのブルックリンで始まったレクチャー＆ワークショップシリーズです。イラク戦争、食、セックス、ロック、住居など,　政治／文化／生活にまつわる様々なテーマを議論してきました。現在もNY、オークランド,京都と場所を変え、形を変え継続されています。

In conjunction with Open University, hanare is pleased to host a lecture on April. 16th, Wednesday, with Shinya Watanabe as a guest speaker. This lecture is a follow-up of the lecture we organized last year in which Watanabe, a curator based in NY, discussed his ideas behind the exhibition, "Into the Atomic Sunshine - Post-War Art under Japanese Peace Constitution Article 9," work in progress at that time. After successfully running the exhibition at Puffin Room in NY, Watanabe is in preparation to organize the same exhibition in August at Tokyo Hillside Forum.

The show examines how Japanese contemporary artists tackled with the twisted reality of the post WWII era, which is, embracing the most pacifist constitution on the earth while understanding the contradiction that Japan developed its economy under the American military umbrella. The artworks included in this exhibition interrogates continuity and contradictions between the pre-war and post-war Japanese society, and impacts of the Article 9 from both internal and international perspectives.
We also hope that the lecture will provide an opportunity to think about how the Article 9, directed mainly to Asian countries by declaring that, "we won't hurt you again, and we won't go into war" holds global power in today's world (Besides, and most importantly, Japan's very pacifist and "chicken" attitude is way cool and advanced to the point that Japanese ladies and gentlemen can be really popular all over the world if we hold on to the Article...).
This lecture will also spotlight Watanabe's role as a independent art curator, who has organized many exhibitions with challenging themes, a very difficult task in the our society where art has become just another tool to cash in.

11.12ワークショップレポート/11.12 Workshop Report

パーティーのレポートが遅くなってすいません。当日は来て頂き、本当にありがとうございました！私たちの運営がイマイチな部分もあって、来てくれた人みんなとちゃんと喋れなくて、悪い事をしたな。。。と反省しています。次からはもっとパワーアップして、ホステスとして恥ずかしくない振る舞いでいきます！シルクスクリーンでイメージを印刷した人は、また感想を聞かせてくださいね。黒と白のインクで印刷した人は、アイロンを忘れないでください！！！
(写真の右上で笑っているのがKitsoneの竹内さんです。竹内さん、本当にありがとう。また一緒になにかやろうね。竹内さんの美容師としての腕前は相当凄いので、一度行ってみてください。)

今回、こういう事を始めてみて１つ思ったのは、「はなれ」としてこういうプロジェクトを始めるという一歩を踏み出したことは自分達にとって、とても大きな意味があったってこと。憲法９条を変えたくないという事を、これまでに使い古されたイメージを使うことなく、面白く世の中に出したいと思って、このイメージを作りました。世界中のいろんな人から「私も貼るし！」というメールを一杯貰って、涙を目に浮かべながら。。。作業をするめちゃくちゃ楽しい毎日でした。デザインのこととか、少し意味が伝わり難かったり、改善点を挙げればそれこそきりがない。でもあえて、始めたんもんね、と言いたい。口でいろいろ言う事は簡単だけど、私たちはそれを形にして、実際に動いていきたいと思う。このプロジェクトはこれからもっともっと、広げていきたいと思ってます。だから、こうしたら良くなるのにとか、こんなアイデアもあるよっていう改善点をどんどん教えて欲しいです。このプロジェクトを始めてから、このブログを沢山の人に読んでもらていることが分かり、めちゃくちゃ元気がでたけど、やっぱりブログを読むだけじゃなくて、実際に、一緒に動こうよ、って思ってます。そしたら凄い事になると思う。

hanareワークショップ vol.3/ hanare Workshop vol.3

hanareが「はなれ」を飛び出してワークショップ/パーティーを行います。このイメージをTシャツに印刷するワークショップをメインに、映像・音楽・ダンス、美味しいご飯とお酒の夜をお届けします。
★当日はシルクスクリーンで印刷可能な素材（Tシャツ、長袖シャツ、ボタンダウンシャツ、カバン等）をお持ちください。インクは濃系（黒又は紺）、白、そして蛍光ピンクを用意する予定です。同色系で刷ると（紺インク×黒シャツ、白インク×白シャツ）カッコよく出来上がると思います。また同じイメージのステッカーも配布していますので、欲しい方は 喫茶はなれまでご連絡ください。日本と世界のいろんな街にこのイメージを広めていくつもりです。その過程はこちらでご覧ください。もちろん、パーティー会場には大量に準備しています。

"hanare," a weekly café and project space, will present the night of workshop/party. The main event of the night will be silk-screening the image above, accompanied by video projection, music, dance, and great food & drinks.

★Bring anything (t-shirts, long-sleeved and button-down shirts, cotton bags etc) that has a flat surface with a printable fabric. We'll have a dark color, either black or navy, white, and fluorescent pink ink available at the party, and we highly recomend that you print a darker ink on dark color shirts as well as white ink on white shirts. If you want a sticker with the same image, please email Kissa Hanare. Your can look at our ambitious plan of spreading this image within Japan and cities aross the world. We will have dozens of stickers available at the party too.

4649 Project :
この画像は、憲法９条という文化を守り、発展させていくのに、鳩やピースマークにはもう飽きたので、それ以外の方法で伝えられる方法を模索し、そして、自分達が大事だと思う事を自分達のやり方で伝えたい、それだけを考えて作りました。私たちの意図に賛同してくれる方はもちろん、「軍隊を持ってはやく戦いにいきたい！」と思っている方も歓迎しますので、是非遊びにきてください。このイメージが日本だけではなくて、世界に広がるように、いろいろ企んでいます。

4649 Project :
As a part of our weekly café project, hanare, we are planning to have a t-shirt silk-screening party on Nov.12, in which we will print an image of Japanese gangster with the statement written also in the gangster style font that opposes amendment of the Article 9 of the Japanese constitution, which prohibits Japan from possessing any military force and use it to solve international conflicts (please read the actual text below). The article 9 is in a way, an apology for neighboring countries for what Japan did before and during WWII, as well as a promise that we will never become a militaristic country again. The Japanese government has been attempting to transform the beautiful part of this constitution for a long time, yet have met huge opposition from Japanese people. Since Koizumi, however, the danger of the article being amended has been greater than ever, and making the image like this is our way of responding to the issues surrounding the Article 9, besides voting. We also hope to open up a possibility of visual resistance culture in Japan by experimenting with unconventional images.
