Event 0 yen School in Kyoto: Kyoto Job Fair By Kyohei Sakaguchi

His name is Kyohei Sakaguchi. He has published books, "0 yen House," "Tokyo 0 yen house 0 yen life," "Sumidagawa's Edison," "0 yen style urban hunter-gatherer lifestyle," etc... Through these books, he has conducted extensive research on those who live in a different layer of urban cities, people who are sometimes referred as "homeless people". Kyohei illustrates rich examples of how they live, collecting, re-using, re-appropriating urban waste, and building an amazing network of people. His past research not only challenges and re-examine the distorted housing situation in Japan, but propose a new possibility of art of living.


His new project is "0 Yen school," inspired by the relationship with the people he has befriended with and the same people who always give Kyohei practical skills and knowledge of how to live without asking any return.


0 yen school in Kyoto aims to tackle with the issues of labor and work, different from the conventional job fairs offered by the government, and this will be one to one meeting.
